Allow the addition of departments to assets.

For 2D environment, Department Leads are sometimes assigned to only one type of "asset", while other times they are assigned to a specific task associated with an asset. Therefore, I would like that departments can be assigned to multiple factors.

Frank Rousseau: Yes, that's correct, for the assets
It's possible that my current set up in Kitsu may not be optimal. 
I have task types set up for each asset, such as "concept", "line", and "colo", regardless of the type of asset. This will allow me to track the evolution of the same asset on the same line at different stages..
So, when a chara lead goes into "my check," it will also include the check for lead background, FX, props..
