In my opinion:
- the goal: to clarify the page. Instead of having a long list of names with only permissions, it's clearer for everyone to know who works on what (even more so as it's not always the same person who manages this page). It should allow to filter the page, to set permissions, to put active/inactive statuses in bulk when a department is done, for example
- a department: can be several tasks (some layout people do animation, some lighting people do FX and render, etc). What about production people and directors though? Could they be integrated also?
The ideal thing would be able to add a hierarchy information (sup, lead, production manager, production assistant...), but with permissions and tasks combined that should be clearer already.

I have two questions:
* What is your goal with this information?
* What is a deparment for you? Departement == task type? Department == several task types?

It would also be great to add 'company' in the people/team page. Maybe add the job or department only by project? And let it be possible to have more than one job?
