I would like to add, those reports can have charts/ and progress bars ..etc If i was a client I would love that. I would call it for example "Production Weekly Digest" it would have all the important things at a glance, not very detailed just the essentials. I think basecamp is doing something daily like that, but the way they are doing it is text based. I think for Kitsu it would be great seeing stats visually, like infographics. Also as a convenience, in the same email, would be the same text/graphics attached as a pdf, formatted nicely with production name/details, so they can print if they wish.
