Good morning,
It would be important for the Dayoffs to be requests. 
If an artist or a supervisor requests Dayoff, it happens in the task todo of the Production manager affiliated with the artist's department.

Lucas MORATA Lucas MORATA do you want this to happen on Kitsu? We do this via email and I know studios have processes. But I agree. Day offs are usually granted by production managers or higher ups and they can enter it when the time off is approved.

Could this be something that will be added on the global timesheet?

We do it by email as well. We could also use third party software as well.
But the easiest thing for the future is managing dayoffs in Kitsu.
They already have a location in the database for users.
It would be enough to add a status type state such as concept status. 
Validated, not validated.
And the managers validate the Dayoffs affiliated with their departments,
And studio managers can validate everything.
Something like that would be great
